Spring Brush Pickup Details Announced In Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — The Wallingford Department of Public Works will begin spring brush only pick up on Monday, April 8, for the public streets in all sections of town. Residents have been asked to place any materials to be picked up by the curbside no later than Sunday, April 7, according to officials. Read more from the town below:
BRUSH ONLY will be collected and must meet the following conditions:
Must be tied with twine in small bundles that are light enough for one person to put into a truck -- Branches/brush not tied WILL NOT be picked up.

Must be less than four feet long or six inches in diameter. Larger brush/branches WILL NOT be picked up.
This is a ONE-TIME ONLY pickup. The Department of Public Works will not go back to any street that has already been picked up. Those residents who miss the pickup may take their brush to the Compost Center on John Street at no charge.

8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Thursday
8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday
