Stabbing Arrest Made In Wallingford

Police say the suspect and the victim were involved in a dating relationship.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A Wallingford woman was arrested after police say she stabbed another person during a domestic dispute on Thursday morning. Police responded to MidState Medical Center on Jan. 18 on a report that a Wallingford resident was currently in the emergency department for treatment of a stab wound. The victim had arranged for their own transportation to the hospital. Responding officers learned that an altercation had taken place inside the apartment building at 70 Center Street in Wallingford, according to Lt. Michael Colavolpe.

Colavolpe said detectives learned that the victim and suspect, 23-year-old Dominique “Nikki” Farr, were involved in a dating relationship. The victim and Farr were arguing inside the apartment building on Thursday morning and Farr stabbed the victim with a knife, according to Colavolpe.

The victim suffered a stab wound to the lower abdomen and was later transferred to Hartford Hospital for further treatment. The injuries do not appear life-threatening, Colavolpe said.
