Students Give Thanks To Police, Firefighters In Wallingford
The annual event at school for students with special needs gives back to the community.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Students at High Road School in Wallingford this week gave thanks to local law enforcement and firefighters with a Thanksgiving feast.
Local police and firefighters were invited to the Thanksgiving feast at High Road School of Wallingford, which serves students ages 7 to 21 with exceptionalities including but not limited to learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, emotional disturbance, traumatic brain injury, communication disorders and physical challenges.
High Road Schools, part of the Catapult Learning family, partner with public school districts to provide a supportive, structured environment for students who need more support to develop academic, social and behavioral skills to be successful inside and outside the classroom.
