Suspect in Wallingford Bank Robbery Arrested by Cromwell Police

Jennifer Labbe, 27, who is a suspect in multiple bank robberies across the state, was arrested after police got a tip about her whereabouts.

A woman who is a suspect in multiple bank robberies across the state was taken into custody Wednesday.

Jennifer Labbe, 27, was found in Hartford after Cromwell Police received a tip about her whereabouts, according to Cromwell Police.

Hartford officers and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force went to an address on Blue Hills Avenue and took her into custody around 11:30 p.m.

She was turned over to Cromwell Police and was charged with the Feb. 17 robbery of the Webster Bank. She is facing charges of first-degree robbery and fifth-degree larceny. She was unable to post a $250,000 court-set bond.

Labbe is also a suspect in a East Hartford bank robbery that occurred on Feb. 6., Vernon on Feb. 10, Wallingford on Feb. 12 and Wethersfield on Feb. 13.

A $2,000 award had been offered for information leading to her arrest.

She was also wanted by Connecticut State Police Troop H on charges of first-degree escape and second-degree burglary. Its unclear if she has been formally served the warrant.

Labbe was released from York Correctional on or about Jan. 20 and entered a residential facility in Hartford. She left on or about Jan. 24, according to Cromwell Police.
