Teen, 18, Charged With Burglarizing Vehicles In Wallingford
Police say more car burglaries are being investigated and additional arrests are likely.

WALLINGFORD, CT — An 18-year-old New Haven resident was arrested Wednesday in connection to several car burglaries in Wallingford. Police have been investigating numerous motor vehicle thefts and burglaries over the past several months, according to Lt. Cheryl Bradley.
“After lengthy investigations, multiple arrest warrants were obtained for several individuals for the thefts and burglaries of vehicles,” Bradley said. “Other similar incidents are still under investigation and future arrest warrants are probable.”
Keon Robertson, 18, of Munson Street in New Haven, was taken into custody Wednesday on three active warrants and charged with multiple counts of larceny, burglary, identity theft, and payment card related offenses, according to Bradley. “The Wallingford Police Department would like to remind the community to keep their vehicles locked and to not leave valuables or keys inside of their vehicles,” Bradley said. “If anyone observes suspicious activity in their neighborhoods that they believe are related to these types of crimes do not confront the individuals and contact the Wallingford Police Department at 203-294-2800.”
