Travel Program: Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands

Delve into the history and wildlife of Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands at the Wallingford Public Library on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 2 p.m.

Wallingford Public Library welcomes Wallingford native Chris Aguiar to the library on Saturday, November 15 at 2:00 p.m. to present “The Enchanted Islands: An exploration of the natural beauty of Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands.”

Attendees will learn about the history, culture, and wildlife of Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.

This program is intended for anyone interested in traveling to Galápagos who would like to learn more about the islands, or those who are simply intrigued by the myriad of fascinating wildlife in our oceans.

Chris Aguiar is studying Environmental Geoscience at Boston College. Earlier this year, he had the opportunity to study abroad in Ecuador and the Galápagos through the Galápagos Academic Institute for Arts and Sciences based out of the Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
