Garbage Truck Fire Closes Lanes On I-91 In Wallingford: UPDATE
A garbage truck's load caught fire on the highway, according to police.
UPDATE: The accident scene has been cleared and all lanes have reopened, according to the DOT.
WALLINGFORD, CT — A garbage truck fire has closed two lanes on I-91 North between Exits 14 and 15 in Wallingford, according to the state DOT. The right and center lanes are closed.
Connecticut State Police say the garbage truck’s load caught fire and it was dumped to save the truck.
