Wallingford To Begin Bagged Leaf Collection
Read details here on the town's annual leaf collection.

Wallingford will begin its annual bagged leaf collection beginning on Monday, Nov. 23.
All leaves to be picked up must be placed at the curb in paper leaf bags, sealed with masking tape only, if needed, according to the Public Works Department.
The Public Works Department says to make sure to have your bagged leaves at the curb no later than Sunday, Nov. 22.

This is a ONE-TIME pickup of LEAVES ONLY. Brush, trash or garden waste will not be accepted. Residents who miss the pickup can take leaves to the Compost Area (157 John Street) at no charge.

Do not rake leaves into the gutters per Ordinance #380.
Compost Center hours until Monday, November 30, 2015 are as follows:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Thursday (closed on Thanksgiving Day): 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Compost Center hours from Tuesday, December 1, 2015 to Friday, January 15, 2016 are as follows:
Monday, Thursday, Saturday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Compost Center will be CLOSED from Saturday, January 16, 2016 to Tuesday, March 15, 2016.
