Wallingford To Close Road For Bridge Repairs: PD
The closure is expected to impact travel patterns through November, according to police.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Upcoming repairs and enhancements to the Toelles Road Bridge will result in the long-term closure of Toelles Road, according to police.
The closure is slated for May 4 through Nov. 30.
Access to Toelles Road from South Turnpike Road will be prohibited. Access to Toelles Road from South Colony Road will be permitted for local traffic only, police said.

A hard barricade will be installed at the Toelles Road Bridge (Route 15 Overpass) to block traffic from going through the area.
Police said there will be a detour route posted for motorists. Officials plan to release a detour map and additional details prior to the closure.
