Wallingford DPW Paving 14 Roads This Summer

Work should be finished by September.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The Department of Public Works will pave 14 roads this summer.

There is a little over $1 million budgeted for road paving this fiscal year in town, according to the Record-Journal. Work should begin in the coming weeks and finish by September.

Modern asphalt contains less oil due to environmental concerns and doesn't last as long, said Public Works Director Henry McCully.
