Wallingford Drug Bust: Four Charged with Selling Cocaine at Pizza Place
Wallingford Police have arrested four men, including a DJ who hosted Karaoke and Trivia Nights at the restaurant.
WALLINGFORD, CT – Following a fourth-month long investigation, Wallingford Police have charged four men with selling cocaine at Colony Pizza House & Restaurant, including a DJ who hosted Karaoke and Trivia Nights at the restaurant.
James Mazziotti, aka “DJ Jimmy Mazz” was one of the four men arrested on March 2 and March 3 at the conclusion of the investigation, which began when police received a complaint to narcotics taking place at the restaurant, located at 32 Center Street, according to Lt. Michael Colavolpe.

- Brandon Preston, 33, of 27 Morgan Street, Meriden, was charged with five counts of sales of narcotics, five counts of possession of narcotics, and possession of narcotics with intent to sell. A search of Preston’s residence resulted in the seizure of over a ½ ounce of cocaine, according to Colavolpe. Preston was detained overnight and arraigned at Meriden Superior Court on March 3. He was released from court on a $110,000 bond and his next court date is March 24.
- James Mazziotti, 34, of 65 Hillsview Road, Wallingford, was charged with three counts of sales of narcotics, five counts of possession of narcotics, and conspiracy to sell narcotics. At the time of arrest, Mazziotti was in possession of two bags of cocaine, according to Colavolpe. Mazziotti was released on a $55,000 bond and given a court date of March 16 at Meriden Superior Court.
- Leonard Tartaglia Jr., 31, 10 Broad Street, Meriden, was charged with sale of narcotics and possession of narcotics. Tartaglia was released on a $5,000 bond and given a court date of March 16 at Meriden Superior Court.
- Joshua Albee, 33, of 13 Parkview Road, Wallingford, was charged with two counts of sales of narcotics, two counts of possession of narcotics, and conspiracy to sell narcotics. Albee was released on a $25,000 bond and given a court date of March 15 at Meriden Superior Court.
Colavolpe said Albee has previously been convicted for sales of narcotics for his role in the 2013 narcotics investigation at the now closed Monte Carlo Café. Albee had been a bartender at that establishment.
