Wallingford Fire Department Hosting Open House Event
The fire department is celebrating its 150th anniversary with an open house event on Saturday.
WALLINGFORD, CT — The Wallingford Fire Department is celebrating its 150th anniversary with an open house event on Saturday, Sept. 15. The open house, which is rain or shine, will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wallingford Fire Department headquarters, 75 Masonic Avenue. Lunch will be provided from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Events will take place throughout the day, including:
- Roof Ventilation
- Live Fire (11 a.m. start time)
- Vehicle Extrication and Stabilization (10 a.m. and 1 p.m.)
- Fire Extinguisher Training
- Paramedic Services
- Touch a Truck
- Firehouse Tour
- Bounce House
