Wallingford Man, 86, Dies in Crash
The accident occurred on North Cherry Street Friday afternoon.

An 86-year-old Wallingford man died following a collision with an unoccupied car Friday afternoon, according to WTNH.com.
WTNH reports that Thomas Gambino was driving on North Cherry Street, just south of the Silk Street intersection, at about 3 p.m. when he collided with an unoccupied Nissan Altima.
Emergency responders transported Gambino to Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden where he was pronounced deadly shortly after arriving, according to WTNH.

The crash is under investigation and anyone who may have seen Gambino’s tan-colored Chevrolet Impala prior to the collision is encouraged to call Officer Christian Evans at (203) 294-2819.
