Wallingford Man Accused of Holding Knife to Woman’s Throat: Report

The woman reportedly stabbed the man in the hand with a fork to get away from him and then called 911.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A Wallingford man faces several charges after police say he held a knife to a woman’s throat during a dispute last week, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The Record-Journal reports Michael Salvatore, 35, of Knollwood Drive, was arrested after police responded to a report of an intoxicated man chasing a woman with a knife.

The woman told police she stabbed Salvatore in the hand with a fork while he was holding a knife to her throat and then called 911, according to the Record-Journal.
