Wallingford Man Charged With Armed Robbery Of Gas Station: Police
The man is accused of robbing a gas station in North Haven at gunpoint last Thursday morning.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A Wallingford man has been charged with the armed robbery of a gas station in North Haven last Thursday morning. North Haven Police took Joseph Arcangelo, 31, of Wallingford, into custody Monday morning in connection to the robbery.
Police said that on Thursday, Jan. 18, Arcangelo walked into the Exxon Gas Station at 77 Washington Avenue with a handgun. He passed a note to the gas station employee demanding money and then fled the scene with cash in a white sedan prior to police arrival, according to police.
Arcangelo was arrested on charges of first-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny. He posted a $200,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned in Meriden Superior Court on Feb. 8.
