Wallingford Man Pleads Guilty In Sex Assault Case

A former dentist has reached a plea deal with prosecutors in a sex assault and child pornography case.

WALLINGFORD, CT - A Wallingford man reached a plea deal with prosecutors on numerous charges stemming from a sex assault and child pornography case, according to the Meriden Record-Journal. Jeffrey Krahling, 52, a former Meriden dentist, was sentenced to 15 years in prison, which will be suspended after 7 years served with 10 years probation.

Krahling is accused of assaulting female patients in 2016 and possessing numerous child pornography images.

Krahling entered a plea under the Alford Doctrine in the case, meaning that he doesn't admit guilt to the charges but acknowledges that the state has enough evidence for conviction.
