Wallingford Man Who Suffered Massive Heart Attack on Road to Recovery

The community has rallied around Corey Andrews and his family.

A very happy update to report… Corey Andrews, the Wallingford man who recently suffered a massive heart attack, has been discharged from the hospital and now begins his road to recovery.

The community has rallied around Andrews and his family since he suffered the heart attack, also known as Sudden Cardiac arrest, in mid-February and a GoFundMe account that was launched on behalf of Andrews and his family (wife Ashley and children Nico and Harper) raised more than $20,000 in 11 days (as of Sunday night).

Steven Dylan, who created the GoFundMe page, posted the good news on Friday that Andrews was released from the hospital.
