Wallingford Memorial Day Parade Route Change Announced

The Wallingford Veterans Memorial Committee announces a change in this year's parade route.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The Memorial Day Parade in Wallingford will follow a different route this year due to “rough roads” on North Main Street, the Wallingford Veterans Memorial Committee announced.

The parade takes place on Monday, May 28 and the festivities start at 9 a.m. at Dutton Park. The parade kicks off 10 minutes after the opening ceremony ends.

The parade route is North Main Street to North Street heading east on North Street where it will turn south onto North Elm Street. It will proceed to Christian Street where it will head west on Christian Street to North Main Street. The route will then turn south onto North Main Street and end at Town Hall on South Main Street, the Wallingford Veterans Memorial Committee announced in a press release.
