The state Department of Public Health recently fined four nursing homes for various lapses of care.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford was one of four nursing homes recently fined by the state Department of Public Health for various lapses of care, according to the Connecticut Health I-Team.
Cara Rosner of the Connecticut Health I-Team reports Masonicare was fined $1,635 in connection to a Feb. 2, 2016 incident in which a resident’s catheter tube became dislodged while being transported to the bathroom by staff. (To sign up for Wallingford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
