Wallingford Police Arrests Include Burglary, Strangulation Charges
Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department.
The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:
Eric Beard, 31, of 25 Pequot Rd., Wallingford, was arrested Dec. 5 on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than ½ ounce of cannabis, possession of narcotics, use/possession of drug paraphernalia less than ½ ounce of marijuana, and failure to have tail lamps or illuminated rear registration plates.
Michael Sheehy, 32, of 399 Main St., Wallingford, was arrested Dec. 5 on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, sale of certain illegal drugs, interfering with officer/resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance / ½ to less than 4 ounces of marijuana, and possession of narcotics.

James Joseph Sabith, 52, of 52 Beth Ann Circle, Meriden, was arrested Dec. 5 on charges of pass motor vehicle stopped in pedestrian crosswalk, operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol and disobeying signal of officer.
Ricky Newton, 31, of 88 Asylum St., New Haven, was arrested Dec. 5 on charges of criminal possession of a firearm, weapons in a motor vehicle, possession of narcotics and operating with a suspended registration.

Jeffrey Roy Jr., 27, of 129 Brentwood Drive, Wallingford, was arrested Dec. 7 on a charge of dumping prohibited.
Michael Albrecht, 44, of 67 Woodhouse Avenue, Wallingford, was arrested Dec. 7 on charges of issuing a bad check $500 to $1,000 and fifth-degree larceny.
Yan Zhang Hangartner, 38, of 19 Terrell Farms Way, Wallingford, was arrested Dec. 8 on a charge of violation of license requires massage therapy.
Joel Rosario, 20, of 149 Fourth St., Meriden, was arrested Dec. 8 on five counts of second-degree forgery and two counts of third-degree larceny by ongoing scheme.
Michael Kenyon, 43, homeless, was arrested Dec. 8 on four counts of third-degree burglary and one count each of third-degree larceny by ongoing scheme, possession of burglar tools, interfering with an officer/resisting arrest and first-degree criminal mischief.
Carlene Townsend, 28, of 52 Little City Rd., Killingworth, was arrested Dec. 8 on charges of second-degree breach of peace, third-degree criminal mischief, possession of less than ½ ounce of cannabis, misuse of plates and operating unregistered motor vehicle.
Syed Aliraza Shamsi, 21, of 2 Ryan Drive, Wallingford, was arrested Dec. 10 on two counts of disorderly conduct.
Dashlyn Oppenheimer, 20, of 97 Lincoln St., Meriden, was arrested Dec. 12 on charges of DUI .02 BAC less than 21 years old, speeding and operating under suspension.
Anthony Balderacchi, 35, of 257 Parker Farms Rd., was arrested Dec. 12 on charges of third-degree strangulation and disorderly conduct.
Tara Grimaldi, 28, of 158 Paddock Avenue, Meriden, was arrested Dec. 12 on a charge of disorderly conduct.
Amanda Lyn Scarpa, 30, of Albany, was arrested Dec. 12 on charges of possession of less than ½ ounce of cannabis, use/possession of drug paraphernalia less than ½ ounce of marijuana, operating motor vehicle with tint/darkened windows without tinting stick and operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol.
Eujenio Orea-Reyes, 24, of 67 Webster St., Meriden, was arrested Dec. 12 on charges of possession of less than ½ ounce of cannabis, operating motor vehicle without a license and operating under suspension.
Tyree Mikel Chappell, 39, of 38 Wharton Brook Drive, Wallingford, was arrested Dec. 12 on a charge of operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol.
Lauren Carney, 39, of 1051 Durham Rd., Wallingford, was arrested Dec. 13 on charges of use/possession of drug paraphernalia less than ½ ounce of marijuana, failure to drive right, and operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol.
Stariesha C. Cabral, 34, of 27 Botsford St., Meriden, was arrested Dec. 13 on charges of first-degree criminal trespass and possession of narcotics.
