Wallingford Police Arrests Include Insurance Fraud, Forgery Charges

The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Daniel Brown, 40, of 127 Church Street, Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 22 on a charge of operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol.

Jared Chacon-Davila, 20, of 300 Main Street, Cromwell, was arrested Jan. 22 on charges of failure to drive right, DUI .02 BAC less than 21 years old, and failure to meet minimum insurance requirements.

Lucian Capozzo, 50, of 126 Hope Hill Rd., Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 23 on charges of failure to drive right and operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol.

Jonathan Perrone, 33, of 42 South Cherry St., Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 25 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny.

Syed Aliraza Shamsi, 21, of 2 Ryan Drive, Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 25 on charges of possession of less than ½ ounce of cannabis, interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, criminal impersonation, use/possession of drug paraphernalia less than ½ ounce marijuana, and operating under suspension.

Matthew Marino, 19, of 42 South Orchard St., Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 25 on charges of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than ½ ounce of cannabis and sale of controlled substance.

Eric Kaminski, 32, of 171 South Airline Rd., Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 25 on charges of interfering with officer/resisting arrest, traveling too fast for conditions and failure to meet minimum insurance requirements.

Miguel Rios, 28, of 1005 North Main St., Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 26 on charges of possession of hallucinogen less than 4 ounces of marijuana, sale of a controlled substance and four counts of failure to register-sexual violence.

Marquis Williams, 37, of 215 Jaffrey St., West Haven, was arrested Jan. 27 on charges of third-degree larceny by ongoing scheme, two counts each of second-degree forgery, issuing a bad check $500-$1,000, fraudulent use of auto teller and one count of fifth-degree larceny.

Dara Morrison, 35, of 113 Read St., New Haven, was arrested Jan. 27 on charges of third-degree larceny by ongoing scheme and five counts each of second-degree forgery, issuing a bad check $500-$1,000 and fraudulent use of auto teller.

Elais Goncalves, 25, of 450 Long Hill Avenue, Shelton, was arrested Jan. 27 on charges of possession with intent to sell/dspns, possession of a controlled substance/ ½ to less than 4 ounces of marijuana and mutilated/illegible/lost/improper attachment-plates.

Jason Sagnella, 37, of 44 Garden Green Circle, East Haven, was arrested Jan. 28 on charges of insurance fraud, second-degree forgery, possession of narcotics and obtaining controlled drug-forged prescription.

Jessica Poach, 33, of 12 Fairlawn Drive, Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 28 on two counts each of sale of hallucinogen/narcotic and possession of narcotics.

Lillian Concepcion, 32, of 56 Congress St., Hartford, was arrested Jan. 28 on charges of criminal impersonation, third-degree identity theft, less than $500 on revoked credit card, fifth-degree larceny by ongoing scheme and two counts of credit card theft.

Paul Francis Nelson, 34, of 1215 Bank St., Waterbury, was arrested Jan. 28 on charges of possession of narcotics and obtaining controlled drug-forged prescription.

Veronica Ann Maher-Hattem, 33, of 111 Bristol St., New Haven, was arrested Jan. 28 on charges of less than $500 on revoked credit card, credit card theft: taking from another, extortion and fourth-degree larceny by ongoing scheme.
