Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Arnold C. Nelson, 39, of Washington Street, Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 11 on a charge of fifth-degree larceny, nine counts of second-degree failure to appear and one count of first-degree failure to appear. He was being held in lieu of bonds totaling $200,000 with a court date of Feb. 8, according to state judicial records.

Dewayne M. Dennis, 42, of Round Tree Drive, Naugatuck, was arrested Jan. 11 on a charge of violation of probation. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Feb. 22.

Johniece E. Golett, 32, of East Main Street, Meriden, was arrested Jan. 14 on charges of second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault – victim elderly or other. She was released on a promise to appear in court on March 10.

Daniel E. Ahearn, 58, of South Cherry Street, Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 14 on charges of illegal discharge of a firearm, illegal carry of firearm while under the influence of drugs/alcohol and two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of Feb. 25.

Michael C. Murphy, 40, of Leigus Road, Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 15 on charges of second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of March 24.

Dennis B. Coleman, 49, of Marion Road, Cheshire, was arrested Jan. 16 on charges of second-degree breach of peace and interfering with an emergency call. He was released on a promise to appear in court on March 24.

Kathleen M. Gahwyler, 50, of Rimmon Road, North Haven, was arrested Jan. 16 on three counts of violation of protective order. She was being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond with a court date of Feb. 28.

Joseph C. Digiovanni, 60, of Staffordshire Commons, Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 16 on two counts of second-degree breach of peace. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of March 24.

Zafier N. Smith, 24, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was arrested Jan. 17 on a charge of extradition arrest no warrant. He was being held in lieu of a $150,000 bond with a court date of Feb. 18.

Harold Ramos, 45, of Pratt Street, Meriden, was arrested Jan. 18 on charges of third-degree stalking, second-degree breach of peace, reckless driving and illegal operation motor vehicle – harass / intimidation. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of March 25.
