Wallingford Police Blotter: April 1 Through April 19, 2019

Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.

The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Joshua P. Kovach, 24, of Knollwood Drive, Wallingford, was arrested April 1 on charges of second-degree forgery and tinted auto glass requirements. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of May 24, according to state judicial records.

John J. Argo, 73, of Pond Hill Road, Wallingford, was arrested April 2 on a charge of first-degree criminal trespass. He was released on a promise to appear in court on May 22.

Gerald W. Bousquet, 60, of Burton Road, Beacon Falls, was arrested April 4 on charges of operating under the influence, possession of less than ½ ounce of cannabis, use of drug paraphernalia and following too closely. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of June 3.

Jenny M. Saucier, 33, of Jackson Avenue, Wallingford, was arrested April 5 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failure to drive upon right. She was released on a promise to appear in court on May 23.

David A. Smith, 54, of Crown Street, Meriden, was arrested April 12 on charges of second-degree strangulation, third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace. He was released after posting a $100,000 bond with a court date of May 23.

John Gambardella, 51, of Mariot Circle, Wallingford, was arrested April 12 on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was released on a promise to appear in court on May 23.

Cesar U. Samaniego-Mendoza, 32, of Britannia Street, was arrested April 14 on charges of third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace, and unsupervised child less than 12 in public. He was released on a promise to appear in court on June 19.

Cole M. Wasilewski, 35, of North Elm Street, Wallingford, was arrested April 15 on a charge of first-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of May 28.

Marquis Williams, 42, of Sherman Parkway, New Haven, was arrested April 15 on two counts of violation of probation. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of June 6.

Michael Maturo, 45, of Staffordshire Commons Drive, Wallingford, was arrested April 15 on two counts of second-degree breach of peace. He was released after posting a $1,000 cash bond with a court date of May 23.

Michael Johnson, 43, of Gold Street, Meriden, was arrested April 16 on two counts of violation of probation and one count of fifth-degree larceny. He is being held on a $5,000 bond with a court date of May 21.

Steven R. Russell, 60, of Naugatuck Avenue, Milford, was arrested April 16 on a charge of second-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $50,000 bond with a court date of June 18.

Gregory P. Smith, 26, of Half Mile Road, North Haven, was arrested April 18 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in court on June 17.

Edward C. Anderson, 35, of Grove Street, Cheshire, was arrested April 18 on charges of third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree breach of peace and second-degree reckless endangerment. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a hearing date of May 15.

Demetrius Caballero, 22, of Markham Place, Meriden, was arrested April 19 on charges of second-degree reckless endangerment, interfering with officer/resisting, reckless driving and traffic control signals. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of June 13.
