Wallingford Police Blotter: Aug. 21 Through Sept. 4, 2021

WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Joe Cottes-Lopez, 30, of Davenport Avenue, New Haven, was arrested Aug. 21 on a charge of second-degree failure to appear. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of Oct. 14, according to state judicial records.

Marjorie Bishop, 52, of North Ridgeland Road, Wallingford, was arrested Aug. 21 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 1.

Jason Vazquez, 36, of Handel Street, East Hartford, was arrested Aug. 21 on charges of simple trespass and sixth-degree larceny. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 1.

Michael Canto, 39, of Main Street, Wallingford, was arrested Aug. 23 on a charge of violation of protective order. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of Oct. 21.

Elizabet Recendiz, 40, of Cottage Street, Meriden, was arrested Aug. 25 on charges of second-degree failure to appear, operating motor vehicle under suspension and operating vehicle with handheld telephone/electronic device. She was released after posting bonds totaling $2,500 with a court date of Oct. 12.

Lewis A. Nicholas, 28, of Stoney Crest Drive, Middletown, was arrested Aug. 26 on four counts of violation of protective order. He was being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond with a court date of Oct. 12.

Meryah J. Everson, 30, of Spring Street, West Haven, was arrested Aug. 28 on a charge of third-degree criminal mischief. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 22.

Erin E. Scanlon, 25, of South Cherry Street, Wallingford, was arrested Aug. 30 on charges of second-degree failure to appear and violation of protective order. She was released after posting bonds totaling $12,500 with a court date of Sept. 27.

Mohana R. Oshea, 55, of Scenic Court, Cheshire, was arrested Aug. 31 on four counts of violation of probation and one count each of sixth-degree larceny and second-degree breach of peace. She was being held in lieu of a $35,000 bond with a court date of Oct. 1.

Steven Polito, 32, of Waterbury Road, Cheshire, was arrested Aug. 31 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 28.

Dana L. McKeehan, 54, of Deerfield Lane, Simsbury, was arrested Sept. 1 on charges of third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree breach of peace. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 28.

Sonja B. Bitschan, 34, of Spice Hill Drive, Wallingford, was arrested Sept. 1 on a charge of disorderly conduct. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 28.

Shawn Bernson, 44, of Pinehurst Drive, Meriden, was arrested Sept. 4 on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of Oct. 12.
