Wallingford Police Blotter: Aug. 29 Through Sept. 1, 2019

Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Demetrius Mariakakis, 38, of Queens, New York, was arrested Aug. 29 on charges of sixth-degree larceny, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with the intent to sell, use/possession of drug paraphernalia less than ½ ounce of marijuana and operating motor vehicle without a license. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Nov. 1, according to state judicial records.

Nadia R. Rios, 40, of Woodside, New York, was arrested Aug. 29 on charges of possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with the intent to sell, use/possession of drug paraphernalia less than ½ ounce of marijuana and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Nov. 1.

Malik S. Ricks, 25, of Pinney Road, Bloomfield, was arrested Aug. 30 on charges of sale of hallucinogen/narcotic, conspiracy to commit sale of hallucinogen/narcotic, sale of controlled substance and conspiracy to commit/sale of controlled substance. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of Oct. 29.

Shase M. Ricks, 26, of Pinney Road, Bloomfield, was arrested Aug. 30 on charges of sale of hallucinogen/narcotic, conspiracy to commit sale of hallucinogen/narcotic, sale of controlled substance and conspiracy to commit/sale of controlled substance. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of Oct. 29.

Michael Mattei, 18, of South Cherry Street, Wallingford, was arrested Aug. 30 on a charge of violation of protective order. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of Oct. 10.

Rodney C. Varney, 56, of Lincoln Drive, Wallingford, was arrested Aug. 31 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 10.

Keith R. Barry, 48, of South Colony Road, Wallingford, was arrested Aug. 31 on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of Oct. 23.

Alana Piscitelli, 22, of Blakeslee Road, Wallingford, was arrested Aug. 31 on a charge of drinking while driving. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Nov. 1.

Richard T. Munson, 32, of North Cherry Street, Wallingford, was arrested Aug. 31 on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of Oct. 23.

Robert J. Cullen, 60, of Jamestown Circle, Wallingford, was arrested Aug. 31 on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date Nov. 5.

Ayisha Glenn, 34, of Lodge Street, New Haven, was arrested Sept. 1 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs and operating motor vehicle at too slow of speed. She was released after posting a $5,000 bond. A re-arrest order was issued Oct. 4.

Jonathan Ruiz, 37, of East Street, Wallingford, was arrested Sept. 1 on three counts of failure to drive in proper lane, two counts of evading responsibility/property damage, operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs and reckless driving. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of Oct. 18.
