Wallingford Police Blotter: Jan. 11 Through Jan. 16, 2019

Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.

The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Robert J. Simler, 82, of Center Street, Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 11 on charges of second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Feb. 1, according to state judicial records.

Christopher J. Trasacco, 21, of Tennessee Avenue, Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 11 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Feb. 21.

Moises Dominguez-Villgomez, 34, of South Cherry Street, Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 11 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs and illegal operation of motor vehicle without ignition device. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of Feb. 26.

Sasha Savaikis, 23, of South Colony Road, Meriden, was arrested Jan. 12 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failure to obey stop sign. She was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of Feb. 21.

Sandra L. Soderlund, 57, of Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 12 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating without insurance, evading responsibility, failure to drive in proper lane, operating motor vehicle with handheld phone/electronic device/text and failure to obey stop sign. She was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of Feb. 27.

John F. McGrath, 38, of North Main Street, Branford, was arrested Jan. 12 on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond. He was also charged on Jan. 14 with violating a standing criminal protective order. He was released after posting a $75,000 bond with a court date of Feb. 19.

Wilson L. Cambisaca, 54, of Gordon Street, Hamden, was arrested Jan. 13 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Feb. 25.

Chase M. Almeida, 31, of South Whittlesey Avenue, Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 13 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs, operating under suspension and possession of less than ½ ounce of cannabis. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Feb. 15.

William Kraszewski, 29, of Peters Lane, North Haven, was arrested Jan. 14 on charges of third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal trespass, third-degree criminal mischief, possession of less than ½ ounce of cannabis and use of drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of March 6.

Benchy J. Vasquez-Valenzuela, 37, of Orange Street, Meriden, was arrested Jan. 14 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Feb. 7.

Destine Vasquez, 18, of Orange Street, Meriden, was arrested Jan. 14 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Feb. 7.

Jay D. Sweet, 52, of Seymour Road, Woodbridge, was arrested Jan. 14 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. He is being held on a $7,500 bond with a court date of Jan. 31.

Edwin A. Stack, 36, of Long Hill Road, Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 15 on charges of second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault – victim elderly or other. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of March 6.

Scott M. Reilly, 53, of Grove Street, Yalesville, was arrested Jan. 15 on charges of disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of Feb. 21.

Garrett L. Baker, 35, of Deering Lane, Waterbury, was arrested Jan. 16 on charges of fifth-degree larceny, less than $500 on revoked credit card, receipt from illegal use of credit card, second-degree identity theft, criminal impersonation, third-degree criminal mischief, sixth-degree larceny and credit card theft. He is being held on a $2,500 bond with a court date of Jan. 31.

Nabeel K. Nassar, 22, of North Cherry Street, Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 16 on charges of illegal possession of weapon in motor vehicle, possession of less than ½ ounce of cannabis, use of drug paraphernalia, improper number of headlamps and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of Jan. 30.
