Wallingford Police Release Results of Distracted Driving Enforcement Campaign
The "U Drive. U Text. U Pay" campaign took place during the entire month of April.

The Wallingford Police Department issued 332 distracted driving infractions during the enforcement campaign that took place during the month of April.
Police also issued 21 infractions for other motor vehicle infractions, including reckless driving, engaging an officer in pursuit, misuse of marker plates, drinking and driving and seatbelt violations, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The “U Drive. U Text. U Pay” campaign took place during the entire month of April and was made possible with a grant from the Connecticut Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office.
