Wallingford Resident Named Vice President Of Unbanking For Connex
Connex Credit Union announces Central Connecticut State University student as Vice President of Unbanking.

From Connex CU: Connex Credit Union, one of Connecticut’s largest credit unions, announces Allen Guzman as its Vice President (VP) of Unbanking for the 2018 - 2019 academic year. The VP of Unbanking is an internship opportunity providing college students with real-world marketing experience.
As the VP of Unbanking, Guzman will work directly with Connex’s marketing department to develop new ideas that help the credit union reach a younger audience and improve the lives of its members. Some of his responsibilities also include expanding the credit union’s social media presence, representing Connex at events and assisting with the credit union’s philanthropic program ConnexCares.
Guzman resides in Wallingford and is a senior at Central Connecticut State University currently pursuing a degree in marketing with a minor in management information systems. Guzman enjoys coaching and playing soccer as well as traveling to new and exciting places.

“We are very excited to have Allen join Connex Credit Union and serve as our new VP of Unbanking,” said Louise Nestor, director of marketing, Connex Credit Union. “The program is a paid internship that helps a college student gain real-world marketing experience, but it also helps Connex continue to grow and connect with a younger audience that represents the future growth of Connex. I look forward to working with Allen and welcoming him to the team.”
