Wallingford Water Division Conducting Leak Detection Survey

Officials are advising residents that crews will be conducting a leak detection survey on water services throughout town.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Officials are advising residents that crews will be conducting a leak detection survey on water services throughout town.

Please be advised that the Wallingford Water Division has hired ConnProfessional Water Services to perform a leak detection survey of its entire water distribution system. In order to perform the work, Conn-Professional Water Services will listen to fire hydrants, valves and water services throughout the Town. Work will also be conducted on privately owned properties such as apartments, condominiums, commercial and industrial complexes.

It will not be necessary for workers to enter homes, buildings or businesses in order to complete the survey. If necessary, this work will be performed by Water Division personnel only.

Work will be performed during the day and in the overnight periods on a Monday through Friday basis. Work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, and will continue until the entire system has been surveyed.

Workers will be driving a white, full size van with lettering on the side identifying it as a Conn-Professional Water Services vehicle.

Conn-Professional Water Services has registered its information with the Wallingford Police Department, and the police are aware of these proposed activities.
