Wallingford Woman Named Director Of Alumnae Relations At Sacred Heart Academy
Caroline Dearborn Raynis is a 2007 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy.

HAMDEN, CT — Caroline Dearborn Raynis, of Wallingford, has been named director of alumnae relations at Sacred Heart Academy-Hamden, the school announced in a press release on Thursday. After graduating from Sacred Heart, Raynis went on to pursue a bachelor of arts in communications with an emphasis in public relations and promotions from Central Connecticut State University. She continued her studies at Southern Connecticut State University where she earned a master’s in business administration with a concentration in marketing.
Raynis was employed by the State of Connecticut Department of Labor from 2010 to 2016 as an associate community services representative, community services representative, and career trainee. Prior to that, she worked in business development for Seidel, Inc.
“Caroline comes to us filled with enthusiasm to return to the place of so many happy memories during her high school years,” Sacred Heart Academy President Sr. Sheila O’Neill said in a press release. “A dedicated volunteer during her years as a student and then as an alumna, Caroline was selected from a large pool of highly qualified candidates and we are confident that our alumnae – 7,000 strong – will thoroughly enjoy working with her. She is warm, engaging, enthusiastic, in love with all things Sacred Heart, very professional and extremely qualified,”

Most active in her parish, St. Sebastian of Middletown, and at her children’s school, Holy Trinity in Wallingford, Raynis also serves as co-leader of a Girl Scout troop. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children, yoga, and the beach.
