Wallingford Woman Takes Mother’s Car, Crashes Into Cemetery: Report
The woman reportedly told police she was using the car without permission.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A Wallingford woman was arrested after police say she took her mother’s car without permission and crashed through a fence at a cemetery and struck a tree head-on, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports police found a heavily damaged abandoned car on Kovacs Place near Memoriam Cemetery at about 2 a.m. Wednesday and Brittany Pyskaty, 27, emerged from behind a home and told police it was her mother’s car and she was using it without permission.
Pyskaty, of Cooper Avenue, was transported to Mid State Medical Center for treatment of a forehead injury, according to the Record-Journal.
