Wallingford's Weekend Weather Forecast Includes Chance of Showers, Thunderstorms

If only we could get today’s forecast to be what we’d end up with on Saturday… But before we get to the weekend, we’re looking at a picture perfect weather day on Thursday with sunny skies and temps in the high 60s to 70 degrees.

Friday is expected to be even slightly better with sunny skies and temps around 70 degrees.

Saturday, however, is shaping up to be the worst day of the weekend as showers and thunderstorms are possible early in the morning, followed by cloudy skies the rest of the day.

But the sun reappears on Sunday, and a gorgeous weather day is forecast with high temperatures approaching the mid-70s.

Here is Wallingford’s latest hyperlocal forecast from the National Weather Service:

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 73. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon.

Friday Night: A slight chance of showers between midnight and 3am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. South wind 5 to 9 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Saturday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. South wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Saturday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 76.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 54.
