Wallingford's Weekend Weather Includes Slight Chance of Storms

But overall the weather looks good, and check out Patch's new interactive hyperlocal weather feature.

It looks like a tale of two states regarding Connecticut’s forecast for Friday and for the weekend.

The National Weather Service has issued another “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for Hartford and Tolland County for the possibility of “isolated strong to severe thunderstorms” between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. this evening.

“The main threat will be locally strong to damaging wind gusts with hail a secondary concern. Heavy rain may result in the potential for brief very localized flooding,” the National Weather Service writes.

As for the rest of Connecticut, including Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex, and New London counties, well, you’ll enjoy sunny skies on Friday with temps in the low to mid 80s, and as of now no chance of thunderstorms or showers.

On Saturday for all of Connecticut there is a very slight chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day but the weather service stresses it’s just a slight chance. It appears it will be mostly cloudy on Saturday with temps in the low 80s.

On Sunday, it’s predicted to be great weather with plenty of sunshine and highs in the mid-80s.
