Woman Charged With Selling Heroin, Crack Cocaine In Wallingford: Police
The woman was arrested after police say she was involved in a drug transaction and was found to have 120 bags of heroin and other items.

WALLINGORD, CT — A 19-year-old Waterbury resident was arrested after police say she was involved in a drug transaction and found to be in the possession of 120 wax folds of heroin along with crack cocaine and other items. The Wallingford Police Department Narcotics Unit observed a green 1998 Hyundai Accent involved in a drug transaction near North Colony Road, according to Sgt. James Cifarelli. A motor vehicle stop was conducted and the operator was identified as Kiana Rodriguez, 19, of Waterbury.
Cifarelli said a thorough search of the Accent was conducted with the assistance of the Wallingford Police Department K-9 unit. Inside the vehicle a “false container” was located that contained approximately 120 wax folds of heroin and 13 bags of crack cocaine, which weighed approximately 4.2 grams, according to Cifarelli.

Rodriguez was charged with sale of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance, misuse of registration plates, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating with no insurance. She was released on a $50,000 bond and given a court date of Aug. 24 at Meriden Superior Court.
