• Winchester approved for speed cameras, as the tech continues expanding across Connecticut (fox61.com) — A speeding crackdown that started in Washington has now helped spur a broader move toward speed cameras across the state, with Winchester becoming the 13th town approved. Winchester will install two cameras on Route 44 within 90 days, aiming to slow drivers and free up its small police force, with citation revenue earmarked for safety and infrastructure projects.
