1 Injured In Dump Truck Rollover: Waterford PD

WATERFORD, CT - Police said one person was injured in a dump truck rollover Friday in Waterford, the New London Day reported. The incident occurred after the truck struck a car on Route 85, police said.

Police said the truck rolled over and spilled its load of dirt all over the road, according to the New London Day. The driver was uninjured but was charged with following too close, police said.

Police said the driver of the car needed to be extracted from her car and was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries, the New London Day reported. The accident is still under investigation, police said.
