WATERFORD, CT — Construction has begun on three new businesses coming to Waterford, according to The Connecticut Scoop.
Work on Hobby Lobby is underway at 167 Waterford Parkway. The spot at the Cross Roads Centre shopping plaza is the former home of Bob's Stores.
The crafts retailer's Waterford store will be its seventh in the state. It's anticipated to open this winter.

Boot Barn has also begun construction on their Waterford Commons location, The Connecticut Scoop reported. The Western wear store plans to open this fall in the former Party City location.

Restaurant Depot is another business coming soon to Waterford. The company has broken ground at its new warehouse at 161 Waterford Parkway North.
