Brooklyn Man Charged With Sexual Assault, Blames Voices In Head: Police

State police said a Brooklyn man charged with sexual assault told officers he heard voices that told him to do it.

BROOKLYN, CT - Connecticut State Police said a Brooklyn man was recently arrested and charged with sexual assault, NBC Connecticut reported. Police said the suspect allegedly admitted to the crime and told detectives that he heard voices tell him to do it.

Andrew Raccine, 31, is charged with sexually assaulting a woman in her home Friday, according to NBC Connecticut. The victim told officers Raccine showed up at her door and forced his way into her apartment.

Police later located and interviewed the suspect, during which officers said he confessed to sexually assaulting the victim, NBC Connecticut reported. Police said Raccine told officers he heard voices that told him to do it.
