Car Crashes Into Weigh Station Building In Waterford: Report

WATERFORD, CT — Police said an SUV crashed into a weigh station building on Interstate 95 south Friday morning in Waterford, according to media reports. The incident occurred shortly after 11 a.m., police said.

According to Fox 61, police said the driver escaped the crash with minor injuries. The Waterford Fire Department responded to the scene and state police are currently investigating the incident, police said.

Police said the vehicle was totaled after taking off the front end of the building, according to the New London Day.
