Engage In A Foot Pursuit With Police For Charity In Waterford

Waterford police invite members of the public to engage in a 5K foot pursuit for charity.

WATERFORD, CT - If you think you can outrun the cops, then Waterford police invite you to come out to the Great Neck Elementary School for a fun run/walk to raise money for charity and do just that. The event will take place September 30 at 9 a.m., according to a release.

All money raised from the event will go towards two Waterford High School scholarships, which started this past year with two seniors each receiving a $500 scholarship. Those looking to participate must register before Monday, September 25 to guarantee a t-shirt. Pre-registration is $25, and day-of registration is $30.

Number and shirt pick-up starts at 8:30 a.m. and the race starts at 9 a.m. Those looking to make a donation without partaking in the event can do so by using the following link.
