First Graders Visit Waterford Police To Decorate Tree, Meet Santa
A group of first-graders paid a visit to the Waterford Police Department to help decorate their Christmas tree and ended up meeting Santa.

WATERFORD, CT - While a trip to the police station can often be bad news, a group of first-graders left the Waterford Police Department with smiles Wednesday morning after helping officers decorate the Christmas tree in their lobby. Their trip also included a visit from a certain man with a beard in a big red suit.
The group from Quaker Hill Elementary is not the first to take part in this holly jolly activity, as each year a different school comes to the department and helps officers decorate.
According to a post on the department's Facebook page, officers find they probably enjoy the tradition even more than the children.

The holiday fun of course did not stop with the tree, as the kids were also treated to a visit from a friendly elf and Santa Claus himself.
