Hartford St. Patrick's Day Parade Postponed Due To Weather

The first St. Patrick's Day parade since the beginning of the pandemic has been delayed by a week.

HARTFORD, CT — Hartford's St. Patrick's Day Parade originally scheduled for Saturday will be delayed one week until Saturday, March 19 due to inclement weather, according to FOX 61. It will be the first time the parade has been held in three years.

Heavy rain is predicted for Saturday. This year marks the 50th for the parade, and the first since the pandemic began in 2020, according to FOX 61.

The parade will begin at 11 a.m. with marchers leaving the state capitol, heading east on Capitol Avenue.
