Mother of Alleged Teenaged Sexual Assault Victim Testifies at Suspect’s Trial
The incident allegedly occurred while the teen was staying as the suspect's house after a party.

NEW LONDON, CT - The mother of an alleged sexual assault victim testified at a Waterford man’s trial on Wednesday in New London Superior Court, as reported by The Day.
Jarah M. Davis, 29, stands trial for giving a 16-year old girl an excess amount of liquor and then sexually assaulting her in May 2015, according to The Day. The incident allegedly occurred while the teen was staying as Davis’ house after a party.
The victim’s mother said the her daughter told her the suspect had gotten her drunk to the point where she could barely move or speak, then assaulted her, The Day reported. Davis admitted to giving her the alcohol, but said the assault claims were a lie.
