Multi-Agency Manhunt Prompted By Walmart Theft: Waterford Police
Police said a theft from a Waterford Walmart store prompted a multi-agency manhunt.

WATERFORD, CT - Police said a theft that occurred at a Walmart store in Waterford on Wednesday prompted a multi-agency manhunt, the New London Day reported. The suspect subsequently turned himself in to police Thursday afternoon, police said.
Police said the incident occurred after Daniel Scott Hosler, 42, of New Haven allegedly stole a computer from the Walmart at 155 Parkway North, according to the New London Day. After multiple departments were alerted about the situation, officers found the suspect's vehicle wrecked and empty, the New London Day reported. Police were later forced to call off the search for Holser, who called police the following day to admit what he had done and inquire about his car.
