Police Arrest 2 Suspects in Waterford Vandalism Case
The suspects are believed to be the individuals responsible for a vandalism spree that occurred in Waterford, East Lyme and Clinton.

WATERFORD, CT - Police announced Tuesday they had apprehended two suspected culprits in a vandalism incident that occurred over the weekend.
On Monday evening, Clinton Police released a photo requesting the public’s help in identifying the persons of interest depicted in the photo. At approximately 10 p.m. that night, police received a tip from an anonymous citizen identifying one of the individuals.
The pictured suspects are believed to be the individuals responsible for the shoreline vandalism spree that occurred Sunday evening. Acts of vandalism in had occurred in Waterford, East Lyme and Clinton.

The anonymous suspect information was provided to Old Saybrook police, where the suspect was from. Officers there were also actively investigating several similar vandalism cases that occurred in Old Saybrook on Monday evening at the time.
Old Saybrook and Clinton police investigators were able to locate and interview the suspects, who ultimately confessed to committing the acts of vandalism along the shoreline. The identity of the suspects will be released once warrants have been obtained and arrests have been made.
