Police Conduct Speed Studies In Waterford
Police said the studies helped determine the best time of day to address speeding issues in these areas of Waterford.

WATERFORD, CT — Waterford police recently conducted speed studies in the areas of Goshen Road/Shore Road and Cross Road/Melanie Drive following recent meetings with neighborhood watch groups.
Police said on Facebook the studies were completed with assistance from the department's Traffic Office to determine the best time of day to address speeding issues brought forward by watch groups.
According to police, a total of 23 vehicles were stopped in these areas during a recent evening shift.

Anyone interested in becoming a Neighborhood Watch Coordinator and starting a group in their area can contact Sergeant Michael Fedor (mfedor@waterfordct.org). Meetings are held once a month in the department's training room.
