Police Investigating 2 Armed Robberies In Waterford: Report

WATERFORD, CT — Police said they are investigating two separate armed robberies that occurred in Waterford, the New London Day reported. The incidents occurred Saturday night along Boston Post Road, police said.

Police said the first incident occurred after a man reported being held up at knife point after withdrawing cash from an ATM, the New London Day reported. A separate incident was reported later that night in which an individual was allegedly held up at gunpoint after being picked up by a car, police said.

Police said the two incidents are unrelated, according to the New London Day.
