Police Seize 'Crack' Cocaine, Heroin During Search: Waterford PD

Police said officers seized "crack" cocaine, heroin, marijuana and more after searching a Waterford residence.

WATERFORD, CT — Police said officers seized "crack" cocaine, heroin, marijuana and more after executing a search and seizure warrant at a Waterford residence Tuesday.

According to a news release, Waterford police executed the warrant at a Windy Ridge Place residence with assistance from the Groton Town Police Department. The warrant was based on a joint investigation with the above agencies and local officers assigned to the FBI’s Safe Streets Task Force, police said.

Police said officers recovered 3.98 ounces of “crack” cocaine, 3.6 grams of fentanyl, 7.5 ounces of heroin laced with fentanyl, one oxycodone pill, one oxycontin pill, 1.6 ounces of marijuana, various cutting agents, a .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol and over $11,000 cash as a result of the search.

Police said Dwayne E. Johnson, 40, of Waterford was arrested on charges of possession of heroin with intent to sell, possession of fentanyl with intent to sell, possession of over an ounce of cocaine/crack with intent to sell, possession of cocaine/crack with intent to sell, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, operating a drug factory, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal possession of a pistol and risk of injury to a minor among other charges.
