Puppy Perishes After Suffering From Electrocution

Belle was in the care of CT Animal House of Waterford, who said the puppy will always be in the hearts of those who knew her.

Belle the puppy was found under a bush in a Norwich resident’s yard, only seven or eight weeks old, with a rough start to her young life.

On a poster circulating online, Animal Control said it appeared that Belle had either chewed on an electrical cord, sustained injuries and was dumped or someone may have deliberately caused the injuries. She made it through the night but had a long road of recovery ahead, an April 12 update from Norwich Animal Control said.

With heavy hearts for a puppy gone too soon, CT Animal House announced that Belle passed away on Monday, April 13.
