Community members can show support for a Waterford cancer patient by eating out or ordering in Tuesday.

WATERFORD, CT - Community members can show support for a local cancer patient by eating out or ordering in for one day only. Palmieri's in Waterford will be donating 100 percent of its proceeds on Tuesday, April 25, to help settle resident Russell Hynes's medical costs, who is currently faced with cancer.

Hynes is originally from Gloucester, Massachusetts, and now lives in Waterford with his wife and two kids. He is currently facing cancer, and medical expenses for his family have been piling up.

Members of the community can show their support by joining police as they order lunch and dinner from Palmieri's. (To sign up for Waterford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
